Paris Jackson is proving blondes do have more fun.
The 17-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson took to Instagram on Tuesday, posting a pic of herself appearing as happy as ever while debuting her new blonde pixie cut.

"We mustn't dwell. no, not today. we can't! not on rex manning day!," Jackson captioned the gorgeous snap.
The quote is one of the most memorable lines from Empire Records, a '90s cult classic that centers around a music heartthrob named Rex Manning (played by Maxwell Caulfield) and a group of music-savvy teens who try to stop a record store from being overtaken by a corporate chain.

Technically, she's a little early, as Rex Manning Day is officially celebrated by superfans on April 8.
The edgy rocker chic 'do comes nearly a week after she flaunted a strawberry-blonde hue, seemingly inspired by the late David Bowie.
"You gotta embrace the awkward phase from jet black to blonde where it's pretty much orange... ch ch ch ch changes," she captioned another Instagram photo.
