Jillian Michaels tells ET that she couldn't be more excited and grateful that her longtime girlfriend, Heidi Rhoades, said yes when the 42-year-old fitness instructor proposed to her on the season finale of Just Jillian.
"While I remain the ultimate cranky curmudgeon, I'm not a fool," Michaels quipped, "I know how lucky I am!"

The Biggest Loser alum and her wife-to-be are rocking some serious bling now that their engagement is out in the open. Michaels wears an emerald cut, diamond Eternity band set in platinum by Martin Katz, while Rhoades' ring, also by Martin Katz, features a small white diamond, Irena Eternity band that is set in 18 karat white gold.
Michaels really went all out for the proposal. The romantic engagement began with a video, which was played in a movie theater with Michaels and Rhoades' friends and family present, that featured highlights from their lives together, ending with their pals holding up signs asking Rhoades to marry Michaels. After the clip ended, the workout queen got down on one knee to properly pop the question.

"I know I'm an a**hole a lot of the time, but if you will continue to put up with me, I would like you to marry me," Michaels asked. "Really?!" Rhoades replied, shocked, before saying yes.
"Heidi is the perfect person for me," Michaels said following the proposal. "The only place where there's like a solace…a safe-haven is with my family."
