Andy Cohen has Kelly Ripa's back.
On Thursday morning, the Watch What Happens Live host shared a pic on Instagram of himself and the 44-year-old TV personality with the hashtag #MorningQueen.
Cohen posted the photo after Strahan made his first appearance on Good Morning America since announcing that he'll beleaving Live! With Kelly and Michaelin September to take on a full-time position at the morning show. A source told ET earlier this week that Anderson Cooper and Neil Patrick Harris are being considered to replace Strahan on Live!. Cohen's name has also been thrown around as a possible contender for the job.
However, the 47-year-old host told TMZ cameras on Wednesday night that he already "has, like, 10 jobs," and thinks Anderson Cooper would be "amazing" as Ripa's new sidekick. He also revealed that he spoke with his friend following Strahan's exit announcement.
Ripa has yet to appear on Live!since it was revealed that Strahan is leaving the daytime talk show, but that hasn't stopped him from praising his longtime co-host. "I’m going to miss everybody at Live!, sitting next to Kelly every day," he told the co-anchors of GMA on Thursday. "I’ve been having a lot of fun on that show over the last four years and I’m very thankful to her because I’ve learned so much from her and [executive producer] Michael Gelman."
