Millan and Dar, an actress, have been dating since August 2010. Millan was previously married to Ilusion Wilson, with whom he shares two sons with -- Andre and Calvin. The two were married for 16 years before she filed for divorce in June 2010.

"Jahira came into my life at just the right time," Millan tells People. "She was instrumental in helping me rebuild my life and my family after my divorce and break from the Dog Whisperer television show. In March, Millan was under investigation over possible animal cruelty stemming from a Feb. 26 episode of his Nat Geo Wild series, Cesar 911, that showed an aggressive dog biting the ear of a pot-bellied pig that started to bleed during a behavior training session. Earlier this month, Los Angeles County Animal Control cleared him of all charges.

"I am pleased but not surprised by this news -- our animal handling procedures are safe and humane," Millan told ET in a statement. "Just like LA County Animal Control, my team and I are 100 percent dedicated to the proper care of all animals, including the farm pig in this case. I am continuing my work rescuing and rehabilitating even the most difficult problem dogs, which has saved the lives of thousands of animals that otherwise would have been euthanized."
