The 'Girls' creator got sentimental with her longtime pal.
It’s no secret that Lena Dunham is a fan of the Kardashians, and on Thursday she posted a nude photo of her own for a special reason. The Girls’ creator and star shared a pic of herself chilling out naked in a bathtub with her co-star and longtime pal, Jemima Kirke. (What, you don’t bathe naked with your friends?)

“Throwback to summer 2012 on the set of Girls, when Jemima was pregnant with her second child,” Dunham captioned the pic, using a flower emoji to cover Kirke’s exposed nipple. At the time, Kirke was expecting her son, Memphis.
With her hand on Kirke’s baby bump, Dunham added a pro-choice message to her caption, saying, “What's so beautiful to me about this photo right now is choice- I got to watch my friend since childhood CHOOSE to become a mother. She had the personal and emotional resources to support that choice. She didn't have her hand forced by lawmakers who would never understand her reality or respect her humanity. Sending love and strength to every woman around the world who is being denied that choice. We won't stop fighting for you.”
The outspoken activist has been a longtime supporter of women’s rights and a feminist advocate. It has been a busy week for Dunham, who surprised fans with a new book, Is It Evil Not to Be Sure?, on Tuesday.
“I have made a chapbook- an essay on diary keeping and excerpts from my most absurd & secret 19 year old journal- to benefit the incredible @girlswritenow,” she told her fans on Instagram.
