The 33-year-old rapper took to Instagram on Thursday to share how proud she was of her niece, Kellise, but was noticeably very covered up for the event.

“My epic niece, Kellise did such an amazing job @ her school play today,” she captioned the image of herself donning oversized sunglasses and a hood inside a theater, likely wanting to leave the spotlight solely on her niece.
“S/O to all the students @ #JohnAdamsHSin QUEENS,” she wrote. “I wish more HS students spent time doing things like this.”
Minaj herself has dipped her toe in the acting pool with roles in films like Barbershop: The Next Cut and The Other Woman.
“I'll wear that title proudly too. I'm very excited about that,” she told ET earlier this year at the Barbershop premiere on being recognized for her talents in both acting and music.
