Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne Perform 'The Lion King' With James Corden in a Crosswalk: Watch Now!

Talk about stopping traffic! On Wednesday’s episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne participated in the host’s crosswalk theatrical production.

The company put on the most popular songs from The Lion King during the few seconds when people were allowed to walk in the crosswalk at the intersection of Genesee and Beverly in Hollywood.

“I hope more than anything that they will just enjoy it, that they will see that making s**t movies is not a way to live your life,” Corden said of Neighbors 2 co-stars Byrne and Rogen.

Rogen complained that he though the late night host had just intended to interview them, saying, “Honestly, I wasn’t expecting to do this at all, but now that I’m here, I feel like I could do a part with talking. Did you see the Steve Jobs movie?”

Instead he was cast as the background scenery of both a tree and later a moon. Byrne, on the other hand, landed both the roles of Nala and Timon.

“The stakes are higher,” she said of the crosswalk theater. “The thrill of live theater and the thrill of death!”

Finally, the company performed their songs, sprinting into the crosswalk and singing until the light turned green and they had to run out of the way of on-coming traffic.
