Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's rocky relationship has become a debate amongst some celebrities.

After Heard, 30, was granted a temporary domestic violence restraining order against the 52-year-old actor on Friday -- less than a week after she filed for divorce from Depp -- celebrities began taking to Twitter to publicly speak out on the couple's legal drama, with many making it clear whose side they were on.

One of Depp's co-stars, Paul Bettany -- the two worked together in Transcendence, The Tourist and Mortdecai -- spoke on the actor's cordial character, writing, "Known Johnny Depp for years and through several relationships. He's the sweetest, kindest, gentlest man that I've ever known. Just saying."

"All I'm saying -- domestic violence is a serious allegation," he added. "Trial by twitter is unhelpful. Let the facts come out before rushing to judgment."

Walking Dead
star Laurie Holden echoed Bettany's statements when she expressed her opinions on the matter on Friday.

"I, for one, am going to see Johnny Depp's new movie," she tweeted, referencing his latest film, Alice Through the Looking Glass, which hit theaters the same day. "His personal life is just that. Personal. No one knows the real truth so just zip it."

"To be clear: I am just saying DON'T JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS," she continued. "Even a pic might not be telling the whole story...."

On Sunday, Holden posted a note to Twitter, explaining why she decided to speak up on the allegations.

The Office
alum Rainn Wilson referenced Depp's Pirates of the Caribbean character in his tweet, but not in a good way, writing, "Here's what I learned today: there's a 100% antibiotic resistant bacteria, bees killed a hiker, Cpt Jack Sparrow is a wife beater."

Andy Richter, a writer and actor, jumped in on the action, too, simply tweeting, "One of the things you can pay a publicist to do is make your ex look bad in the press after you've been accused of abuse."

One of Heard's close pals, Amanda de Cadenet, showed her support by retweeting a series of "#ImWithAmber" tweets.

As ET previously reported, Heard and her lawyer provided a photo to the Los Angeles court, which showed various bruises on Heard's face, alleging that Depp had harmed her. In her restraining order filing, she also detailed the alleged verbal and physical abuse she claims Depp inflicted on her throughout their relationship.

"During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me," the Magic Mike XXL actress alleged in court documents obtained by ET. "I endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny, which has included angry, hostile, humiliating and threatening assaults to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him."

Heard also alleged that Depp abused drugs and alcohol and claimed she lives "in fear that Johnny will return." To hear the latest update on Depp and Heard's legal drama, watch the video below.
