See you soon! General Hospital star Kirsten Storms is taking a break from the soap opera to get her life back on track. The Disney Channel alum took to Instagram and Twitter on Sunday to confirm to her fans that she would be spending some time away from the show.

“First, thank you for the outpouring of love & support,” she began. “I appreciate the positive messages I’ve received. Second, yes I am taking a little break from work due to some skin issues I’ve been having.”
Storms went on to note that her doctors believe her skin condition and breakouts are “due to stress,” but that they “shouldn’t take too long to get under control.”
She even assured fans that she’s “on the better end of it now.” Apparently her skin irritations had become so drastic that the makeup team for General Hospital was unable to cover up her blemishes.
“We all know in this biz appearance is important,” the Zenon star wrote. “In the meantime I look forward to seeing Molly on screen as I take the next few weeks to heal.”
In April it was announced that Storms and her GH co-star Brandon Barash were divorcing after three years of marriage. The couple share daughter Harper, 2.
