Reese Witherspoon couldn’t be prouder of her son!
The 40-year-old actress took to Instagram over the weekend to share a milestone moment for 12-year- old Deacon, who just graduated from elementary school.
“Off to Jr High! Yay, Deacon! #proudmom,” she captioned the smiling pic of the pair on his special day.
Deacon, who is Witherspoon’s son with her ex-husband and former Cruel Intentions co-star, Ryan Phillippe, looked adorably dapper in his suit and bow tie.
Witherspoon and Phillippe are also the parents to 16-year-old daughter Ava, who is nearly the spitting image of her famous mother.
Ava recently shared some photos on her social media account showing off her pink-tinted hair and her nose ring.
ET caught up with Witherspoon at Stand Up To Cancer’s Standing Room Only event in New York City in April where she revealed her excitement over the television spinoff of 1999’s Cruel Intentions.

"I'm excited!" she said. "Sarah’s a good friend of mine, and our kids are in preschool together, so I'm really excited. It's a lot of the original people involved, so yeah, I'll be watching.”
