On what would have been Tupac Shakur's 45th birthday, fans are taking a trip down memory lane with the very first trailer for his upcoming biopic.

Directed by Benny Boom, All Eyez on Me will be released on Nov. 11 and will chronicle the late rapper's life and high-profile feud with Notorious B.I.G. A one-minute first look at the project hit the web on Thursday.

"[Racism] is a vicious cycle, and Tupac was a victim of that; he witnessed police brutality," Boom recently told Billboard. "It's not just a biopic about a musician: It's about a revolutionary. It's the story of a martyr, someone who died for this cause."

Demetrius Shipp Jr. stars as Shakur, while Jamal Woolard plays Biggie and Kat Graham takes on the part of Jada Pinkett.

"The most important thing to me is to capture the essence of their relationship, because they had such a complex and an incredibly dynamic friendship," Kat told ET earlier this year.

"She called me a few weeks ago and we talked about the project and I told her what I was doing in it and parts of her life that we're recreating, and she's extremely supportive and a loving woman," the 26-year-old Vampire Diaries star gushed. "We sound similar, and I'm a sound person. She is a musician too, and I was an engineer before I was even a music artist, so I'm all about tones and we have a similar tone ... She's pretty much my idol."
