"Those are some pretty big shoes to fill," Victoria Justice admitted of stepping into Susan Sarandon's role of Janet. "I mean, it was so much fun. I've been such a big fan of Rocky Horror for such a long time, and to be able to sing iconic, you know, 'Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch-a, Touch Me,' just blew my mind. It was incredible."

Respect for the original cast is something this new generation clearly shares. "It's really fun to see all of us bring our own take to these characters, and also just pay homage to the original," said Christina Milian (Magenta).

"We did our best to honor the original and bring a fresh take to it. It's not designed to replace the original," Reeve Carney (Riff Raff) echoed. "It's designed to bring more Rocky Horror family members into the fold."

And while Laverne Cox will take on the iconic role of Dr. Frank-N-Furter, not only has original star Tim Curry given his stamp of approval to the remake, the 70-year-old actor will make an appearance in the film as the narrator.

Curry's participation in the reboot is certainly exciting for fans of the original, something the new film is hoping to capitalize on.

"The movie really embraces the fans, in the actual film," Milian told ET. "For 42 years this movie has been out in theaters continuously, where they go and they celebrate and they dance and dress up."

"Get ready. It's about to get wild," she said.
