Russell Wilson already loves playing the role of stepdad!

The Seattle Seahawks quarterback said "I do" to Ciara at the Peckforton Castle in Cheshire, England, earlier this month, and three weeks after their nuptials, he hasn't been able to stop gushing over their little family.

During an event showcasing the Why Not You Foundation, which was livestreamed via Wilson's Facebook page on Tuesday, the NFL pro adorably revealed what life is like with his wife and her mini-me. Although Wilson and Ciara don't share any children (yet!), the "Give Me Love" singer is mom to a 2-year-old son, Future Zahir, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé, rapper Future.

"[Ciara]'s been an inspiration since day one -- since moment one," Wilson, 27, explained. "And her little one, too, just watching him. I was saying to somebody the other day, being a stepfather is one of the most loving things you can do. You really learn how to love, especially when it's not yours."

"You realize that every kid matters in this world," he added. "Every person matters, every child matters, every heart matters, every soul matters, every mind matters. That's why we're here, honestly, for situations like that."

It doesn't get much cuter than that!

ET caught up with Wilson earlier this month, ahead of his hosting gig at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards, where he played coy when asked whether or not he and Ciara, 30, plan to have any of their own kids any time soon.
