Katy Perry gives credit where credit is due.
Before performing her new hit single "Rise," the 31-year-old singer delivered a powerful speech about the importance of voting during the final night of the Democratic National Convention on Thursday. Apparently, she got a little help from someone close to her heart -- her boyfriend, Orlando Bloom.
While Perry didn't mention his name on stage, she later took to Twitter to reveal the Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales actor was the real genius behind some of her inspiring words at the convention.
During Perry's speech, HelloGiggles co-founder Sophia Rivka Rossi live-tweeted a key line-- "It's not where you come from but what you grow into" -- tagging the pop star and using the hashtag "#DNCinPHL."
Perry responded a few hours later, writing, "Lando put that one in" with a red heart emoji.
