Nick Viall may not have been able to win over Andi Dorfman's heart on season 10 of The Bachelorette, but he is getting a fourth chance at love -- and the brunette beauty couldn't be happier for him!

The 35-year-old reality star was announced as the new Bachelor during the Bachelor in Paradise post-show, After Paradise, on Tuesday night, and following the surprising pick, ET caught up with Andi to discuss her ex's new title.

"I'm happy for Nick!" Andi, author of It's Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak into Happily Never After, exclusively told ET on Wednesday. "It's been a long road for him, but I think his intentions are pure and he genuinely wants to find love."

"I'm excited for him to get another shot at it," she continued, "and wish him the best!"

Nick is no stranger to ABC's Bachelor Nation. In addition to Andi's season, Nick also appeared on Kaitlyn Bristowe's season of The Bachelorette, and season three of Bachelor in Paradise.

"Everyone deserves to find their person and we want to wish Nick the best of luck," Kaitlyn tells ET.

Nick's dating Jen Saviano (from Ben Higgins' season) on the show, which is currently airing on ABC, but seeing as he's been cast as the season 21 Bachelor, it's obvious things don't pan out in the finale.

Before the network announced that Nick would be the one handing out the roses this time around, many fans were rooting for Luke Pell or Chase McNary (both from JoJo Fletcher's season) to take on the role. The two took to Instagram to confirm they were not chosen, but are excited for what the future holds.
