Jenna and Bodhi Elfman have three simple tips to making marriage work -- and only ET has their secrets.
“I have, like, a little checklist that I think are the most relative items that have kept us together for 26 years,” Jenna spills.
“Humor must fall in there somewhere,” Bodhi says.
“Humor is number one, because we crack each other up,” Jenna adds. “Because if you take any of that too seriously, it will hurt.”
STAR SIGHTINGS: Jenna and Bodhi Elfman Record New Podcast
The Elfmans’ second secret is just for parents.
“Don’t get divorced in the first year -- first three years,” Jenna shares. “You’re just tired.”
And finally, the stars say sex is key.
“Marriage, in itself, is ridiculous all on its own,” Bodhi says.

The couple opened up in support of their new podcast, Secrets, Crimes & Audiotape. It’s podcast network Wondery’s first original scripted series. Jenna and Bodhi are behind the first tale in the anthology series, “A Beautiful Spell,” which will span three episodes. It tells the story of a husband and wife who wake up in the middle of the night, afraid they may have fallen out of love.

“It’s a pretty profound story of really what can happen in a marriage,” Bodhi teases. “It’s really funny. Has a lot of humor in it.”
“We want people to laugh about marriage,” Jenna says.
The first episode of Secrets, Crimes & Audiotapepremieres Tuesday, Sept. 20, on iTunes.
Amber Rose recently launched her own podcast, too, a revival of Loveline. Check out the video below to learn all about it.
