Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton's families had their game faces on after Sunday night's contentious presidential debate.

The debate capped a weekend that began with the Washington Postleaking a 2005 recording of Trump making disparaging comments about women to former Access Hollywood host Billy Bush, before appearing to brag about being able to sexually assault women due to his celebrity status.

Trump's oldest daughter, Ivanka, shared a cordial (if a little awkward) moment with Clinton's daughter, Chelsea, after the 90-minute event came to a close.

The two have remained friends, even through the bitterly contested 2016 campaign.

"Our friendship didn't start with politics and it will last long after this race is done," Chelsea told ET of her friendship with Ivanka in July. And a month later, Ivanka confirmed to Harper's BAZAAR, "Of course we're still friends."

Another awkward encounter happened after the debate when Trump's other daughter, Tiffany, appeared to pull away from her father, who some on Twitter interpreted as going in for a kiss.

However, others on social media argued that, looking at Trump, it doesn't seem as though he was actually trying to kiss his daughter during the clunky exchange.

Meanwhile, Bush has been suspended by the Today show for his part in the leaked audio scandal.

"Obviously I’m embarrassed and ashamed. It’s no excuse, but this happened eleven years ago," said Bush in a statement to ET. "I was younger, less mature, and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry."

This weekend, amid the fallout from the leaked audio, another piece of audio re-surfaced from a 2004 interview with Howard Stern, where Trump OK'd the radio host referring to Ivanka as "a piece of a**."

"Can I say this?" asked Stern, referring to Trump's then-22-year-old daughter. "A piece of a**?"

"Yeah," Trump responded.

Later in a September 2015 interview with Rolling Stone, Trump was quoted as saying of Ivanka, "Yeah, she's really something, and what a beauty, that one. If I weren't happily married and, ya know, her father ..."
