The 39-year-old actor said he's doing "great" following his hospitalization in April. While Manganiello didn't elaborate as to what put him in the hospital, he assured fans that they'll be seeing much more of him on the big screen. "[I'm] getting ready to go shoot Batman in the spring, and release the Smurfs in April," he shared while at the Mohegan Sun's 20th anniversary party in Uncasville, Connecticut, over the weekend. "I got a couple other movies up my sleeve before them."
Manganiello is also looking forward to celebrating his one-year wedding anniversary with wife Sofia Vergara next month. "Yes, we have plans," he revealed. "They're secret. Just for us."
Vergara celebrated early by calling out the two-year anniversary of when she first started dating the Magic Mike XXL star. "Two years. Te Amo. Dont ever change," the 44-year-old actress Instagrammed in June.
On Nov. 22, 2015, Manganiello and Vergara tied the knot at The Breakers Palm Beach resort in Florida while surrounded by nearly 400 of their close family and friends. Celebrity guests included her Hot Pursuit co-star, Reese Witherspoon, his Magic Mike co-star, Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan, True Blood's Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer and Vergara's Modern Family castmates Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Ed O'Neill, Ariel Winter, and Sarah Hyland.
