Michael Lohan Back in Jail
Michael Lohan was arrested again in Florida early Thursday, less than 12 hours after being released on bail in a domestic violence case.
According to the Tampa police report obtained by ET, Lohan was arrested after calling his estranged girlfriend Kate Major, who has a restraining order against him, multiple times attempting to "work things out". When Major called the police, Lohan allegedly tried to evade capture by jumping from the third story balcony -- but crashed onto the floor, injuring his foot. After then attempting to conceal himself amongst the trees, he was eventually apprehended and transferred to Tampa General Hospital to get a possible foot injury checked out.
Lohan is claiming that Major called him first, though police reportedly saw no incoming phone calls from Major's number.
Lohan was charged with violating Judge Walter Heinrich's "no contact" order, and resisting arrest without violence.
He has been admitted to the hospital for overnight observation, and will not be released from Tampa General Hospital today, Tampa Police said in a statement.
