Michael Buble wants his children to know they can talk to him about their sexuality.

"Having two boys of my own who I love more than I'll ever love myself, I can't tell you how crushing it would be if they couldn't feel that they could tell their father that they were gay - or different in any way," the 41-year-old singer said in a new interview with PrideSource.

Buble noted during the interview that since having children with Argentine actress and model Luisana Lopilato -- the couple are raising 3-year-old Noah and Elias, 11 months old -- LGBT issues have become especially important to him.

When asked how he'd react should one of his kids come out to him one day, Buble said he'd respond with "nothing but love."

"It's because I love them, man," he continued. "I love them so much that I just want them to be happy. My goal in life is to make them beautiful, happy human beings."
During the interview, the singer took a firm stance on LGBT rights, declaring that he's not worried about polarizing his fan base over his staunch gay activism, "because years from now, when my kids grow up… they're going to be proud of their father because their father was on the right side of the line."

Elsewhere, Buble revealed that his own wife thought he was gay when they first met. Before the couple married in 2011, the "Nobody But Me" singer recalled meeting his now-wife over drinks while she was with another man.

"I naturally assumed that this was her boyfriend or her husband, so I refused to hit on her," he recalled. "But the more I drank that night, the more brazen I got about trying to find out what the situation was between them."

Eventually, Buble discovered that, in fact, they were not together, and that "she came because she likes you," her male friend disclosed.

But Buble says Lopilato was as confused about the situation as he was. "She was on the phone texting her mom saying, 'Oh my god, Michael Buble is all over my friend. He's so gay.'"
Recently, Buble sat down for a hilarious chat with ET to talk about his thoughts on fatherhood. Check out the video below.
