The 47-year-old actress captioned the pic, "Sometimes work can be rough…Lol." But not to worry, J.Lo didn’t actually take a punch.
Lopez jokingly added, #Immafightertoo and #sufferforyourart before assuring fans that the "shiner" was just a makeup job with hashtags reading, #justkidding, and #nobodyhitme.

The mom of two shared her excitement with ET after the NBC cop drama was renewed for a second season earlier in the year.
"I'm super happy [about the renewal]," Lopez told ET’s Cameron Mathison at a Shades of Blue For Your Consideration Emmy event in June. "I was like, 'Oh great, that was really hard. I’ll do that again!'"
"The show is so intense and the show does take a lot out of you," she added. "But, it was great and I’m glad everybody really liked it and is enjoying it."
