Cam Newton Expecting Baby No. 2!
Cam Newton is about to be a dad for the second time!
The Carolina Panthers quarterback is expecting his second child with longtime girlfriend Kia Proctor, his parents, Jackie and Cecil Newton, told NBC Charlotte on Tuesday.

Newton and Proctor are already parents to 11-month-old son Chosen Sebastian, who will turn 1 year old on Dec. 24.
According to Newton's parents, the couple might have their hands full with two kids under 1, as Proctor is said to be due any day now.
"We are excited," Cecil exclaimed.
"I have no idea what this one's going to be called, but we'll be happy," Jackie said, referring to the interesting moniker given to Newton's first child, Chosen.
"Cam is happy, his first born, so we are happy," she added. "It's going to be a giddy time of the year for us."

It's also been a "giddy time of the year," for Proctor, who has been showing off her baby bump on Instagram.
"❤FAMILY❤," she captioned a sweet Halloween family snap featuring her growing belly in November.
"❤ unconditional love ❤," she captioned another pic of herself holding baby Chosen in October.

While Proctor hasn't been shy about showing off her baby bump this time around, she and Newton kept her first pregnancy under wraps until Chosen was born.
"I've been quiet about this because I didn't want to create a distraction for my team," the NFL star explained on Twitter at the time.
