Kate Beckinsale and Michael Sheen might be exes, but they're also proud parents.
Upon hearing that their 17-year-old daughter, Lily, got into college, the two couldn't help but excitedly embrace. "The appropriate fatherly response when you find out your girl got into college," Beckinsale, 43, captioned photos of Sheen picking up both herself and Lily. "Burst into tears, drop everything, rush over and pick up everyone even remotely involved. @lily_beckinsale, we are so unbelievably proud of you . Fly fly fly."
Sheen also spoke to ET's Carly Steel about his family and how he plans to spend the holidays with Lily, Beckinsale and his current girlfriend, Sarah Silverman.
"Well, it’s my daughter’s last Christmas at home before she goes away to college. So, we’re all having Christmas together, me and Sarah and Kate and Lily and Kate’s parents are here as well," the 47-year-old actor shared at the Los Angeles premiere of his new movie, Passengers, which hits theaters on Dec. 21. "So, we’re all going to have Christmas together and then I’ll go back to the U.K. and see my family after that."

Sheen and Beckinsale -- who split in 2003 -- might be the most amicable exes in Hollywood. During an interview with Chelsea Handler on her Netflix show, the Masters of Sex star opened up about his relationship with Beckinsale as well as her friendship with Silverman, 46.
"Our relationship now is probably better than it ever was," Sheen said. "And it helps that she actually likes Sarah more than she likes me."
He quipped, "The only way it doesn’t work out is that now I have not only Sarah, but also Kate and my daughter, Lily, who all just make fun of me and embarrass me at any given point."
