The 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star celebrated her oldest child's birthday with a purple-themed party.
Bravo viewers have seen Gia Giudice grow up on The Real Housewives on New Jersey, and over the weekend, she celebrated her 16th birthday.
Gia's mother, Teresa Giudice, shared a slew of photos from her oldest daughter's purple-themed party at Dream Downtown, along with some sweet messages. "Happy Sweet 16th Birthday Gia. Your my pride and joy," Teresa wrote. "Hope you had a great time at your party with your friends at the @dreamhotels @palermosbakery @theballonbossnj #sweet16"

The mother-daughter duo had their best party getups on for the occasion. Teresa sported a black, lace-up jumpsuit, while Gia chose a figure-hugging, gray cutout mini-dress by Castle Couture.
Gia's father, Joe Giudice, was not present for his daughter's birthday as he's serving the remainder of a 41-month prison sentence, which began March 23, 2016, at the Federal Correctional Institute in Fort Dix, New Jersey. In 2014, Teresa and Joe pleaded guilty to fraud charges, but requested to serve jail time separately to ensure their daughters have parental care. When talking to ET, Teresa -- who served 11 months in prison last year -- credited her four daughters for helping her through this time.

“My kids, they do a lot,” the 44-year-old reality star said. “They have a lot of activities and they keep me busy, so the days fly by. Thank God for them.”
