"It takes a village," Lively wrote on Wednesday next to a snapshot of four seamstresses working intently on the hand-beaded creation. "Thank you ladies. I remember hand gluing plastic stones onto my prom dress. And I was (and still am) so proud of it. Can't believe this is what goes into a dress I get to wear now. So grateful."

In another post, Lively thanked the glam squad behind her hair and makeup.

"I don't take it, or you, for granted," she captioned a red carpet photo tagging Versace, Christian Louboutin, jeweler Lorraine Schwartz and more.

While Lively and Reynolds looked amazing on the red carpet, the couple almost missed the show. Reynolds, who earned his first Globes nomination for Deadpool, shared with ET that their car broke down just ahead of the ceremony.

"It was touch and go for a second there," he said. "The car didn't work, so we had to sort of hijack a friend's car...[The cops] came and got us, which was great because I didn't think we were ever going to get in."
