When it comes to dating advice, Camila Cabello says she turns to another celebrated songstress: Taylor Swift.

The 19-year-old former Fifth Harmony singer recently sat down with The Sun U.K. where she got candid about her love life, and revealed that she often seeks out the 1989 singer's experienced guidance when it comes to dating.

"We talk about love a lot," Cabello shared. "And if I ever have any questions about love or if there's anything that I'm going through at the time, whether it's with a boy or with a friend, she's a very good person to ask those kind of questions."

Cabello said that Swift -- who has famously been romantically involved with a number of stars, including Harry Styles, John Mayer, Calvin Harris and, most recently, Tom Hiddleston -- is helpful in matters of the heart because "she's very knowledgeable about that stuff."

However, romance isn't the main thing on Cabello's mind. The singer, who quit Fifth Harmony back in December, is working on her first solo album.

"I spent five years dedicated to the group and all of us focusing on the group and it was an amazing journey. I'm so proud of everything that we achieved together and every moment that we had together," Cabello said of her departure from Fifth Harmony. "But you know, just like any artist I felt like it was time to explore my own artistic vision so I just followed my heart and here I am."

Cabello's first solo debut, "Love Incredibly" leaked last week, and days later she stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show with Machine Gun Kelly to perform their hit song "Bad Things," marking her first post-5H talk show performance.

Earlier this week, Cabello sat down with Radio 1's Live Lounge where she opened up about quitting the band and pursuing her solo career. Check out the video below to hear what the singer had to say.
