"Well this day took a turn. I woke up to the worst stomach pains. A few hours later, I'm one appendix lighter!" Bass wrote alongside a photo of himself looking healthy in his bed, rocking a hospital gown and a vital signs monitor on his finger.

"Oscar viewing party in my room!" Bass added.

The 37-year-old singer and TV personality also shared his appreciation for his husband, Michael Turchin, who helped him through the frightening development.

"My husband is amazing," Bass' captioned continued. "It is so nice to have a partner in crime in these situations."

There's a chance Bass could watch his former bandmate, Justin Timberlake, take home an Oscar at this year's ceremony. The 36-year-old star is nominated for Best Original Song for his single "Can't Stop the Feeling" from the film Trolls.
