Shannen Doherty Remembers Late Father on His Birthday With Touching Tribute
Family means a lot to Shannen Doherty.
Over the weekend, the 45-year-old actress honored her late father, John, on what would have been his birthday. "March 25, this beautiful light entered the world and left a lasting impression upon everyone he encountered. They say we pick our family. I would pick him over and over again, every time," Doherty captioned a photo collage of herself and her dad on Instagram. "My hero. My mentor. I'm ridiculously lucky to have had him guiding me, teaching me and loving me. He still is. Daddy I love you. Still. Always. Forever. #adadslove."

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star spent the day with her mother, Rosa, and shared memories of her father's life. "What a beautiful day with my gorgeous mama celebrating my dad's birthday," she captioned a selfie with Rosa. "Love you mom. I'd choose you over and over too. @themamarosa"
Doherty has been very diligent about sharing her life with her Instagram followers, even during the tough times. The actress continues to share updates about her battle with breast cancer, and in an exclusive interview with ET in July, she opened up about taking her journey day by day.
