The pair, who have dodged dating rumors for years, were spotted on a dinner date on Sunday in the East Village in New York City.
EXCLUSIVE: Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx Are Still Going Strong as They 'Cater In' Dates, Source Says
In a photo posted by celebrity blog Fameolous, Holmes and Foxx sit close at a corner table. Holmes, donning a ponytail and glasses, is clearly visible, while the back of Foxx's head can be seen leaning in. The 49-year-old actor sports a white fedora and faded sunglasses in the pic -- the same outfit he was wearing in a shot posted to his Instagram the same day.
Though Foxx and Holmes have denied reports they're an item and their reps have never confirmed the alleged relationship, a source told ET on Monday that the two are still very much dating. According to the source, Foxx even recently surprised the mother of one with a bouquet of flowers while she was out promoting The Kennedys: After Camelot.
The pair have been linked since 2013, but until now, have yet to be photographed publicly together. According to ET's source, that's because Foxx and Holmes prefer to "cater in" their date nights.
"Jamie is also very private when it comes to his personal life," the source added.
While Holmes keeps her relationship on the down low, she has no problem sharing adorable pics of her daughter, Suri Cruise. On Tuesday, the 38-year-old actress posted a cute snap of her and Suri's "salon days."
