“So excited because what? It’s Wonder Woman Day at my house,” she says with enthusiasm in an Instagram video. “I’m having a party for 28 10-year-olds and Teyona just brought the cake from Charm City Cakes. I'm going to help you put it on. Happy Wonder Woman Day!”
Winfrey also treated her guests to Wonder Woman-themed popcorn buckets, gold plated cuffs and sandals. But it didn’t stop there -- she also had three private chefs prepare hamburgers, hot dogs and a blue cheese salad.
Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman in the Patty Jenkins-directed blockbuster, got wind of the party and couldn’t help but show her excitement. “This is awesome,” she wrote on Instagram after re-gramming one of Winfrey’s videos.
Last year, Gadot spoke to ET about playing a superhero. "This is the role of my dreams," she gushed. "Ever since I became an actress, I always said that I wanted to show the stronger side of women. Little did I know that soon after, I would land this magnificent role."
