Tom Brady's Mother Receives Super Bowl Ring from Patriots -- See Her Son's Touching Tribute

Tom Brady is definitely a mama's boy!

On Sunday, the NFL quarterback confirmed to ESPN that the New England Patriots and the team's owner, Robert Kraft, had gifted Brady's mother, Galynn, with a Super Bowl ring of her own. “She was a big inspiration for me, and [Robert] knew it,” Brady said of his mother. “It was a great surprise to all of us when the ring showed up. She deserves it.”

On July 4, Brady posted a photo to Instagram of Galynn giddily wearing a Super Bowl ring. "Happy Birthday to the most SUPER MOM a son could ever ask for!!! I love you Mom I am the luckiest son in the world!!!" he captioned the sweet image.

Galynn was not able to attend any of the Patriots games last season due to her battle with cancer, but did make it to the Super Bowl LI. Prior to the big game, Brady told reporters that he was dedicating his performance on the field to his mother. Brady’s father, Tom Brady Sr., recently told The Boston Globe that Galynn had concluded her cancer treatments in April.

“She is doing great,” he husband noted in June. “She is getting out and playing golf and tennis and looks wonderful.”

In addition to her Super Bowl ring, Brady also paid tribute to Galynn with yet another sweet pic on Instagram from back in the day. "Every practice, every game, every meal, every call, every hug -- for all the love that you give and every moment you make possible -- thank you mom. You are my champ," the 40-year-old athlete gushed. "I love you."

After winning his fifth Super Bowl title, Brady spoke about to WEEI 93.7FM about his mom and what his success meant to her. “It’s nice to win for her -- nice for her to be there,” he said. “We all love her so much.”
