The Jonas Brothers’ performance at the 2019 Billboard Music Awards began with some adorable PDA!
At the outset of the the trio's performance, Nick Jonas offered fans some bars from his solo track, "Jealous." Then his older brother, Joe Jonas, joined him for a rendition of the DNCE song "Cake by the Ocean." And as the brothers made their way to the stage, Nick offered his wife, Priyanka Chopra, a smooch!
When Nick and Joe arrived on stage, they were met by their brother, Kevin Jonas, who joined them a they broke into their infectious new anthem, "Sucker," for the massive audience. Standing amid a circle of flame-covered rods, the pop threesome brought loads of energy to the TV moment.
And every time the camera cut to Sophie Turner, Joe's fiancee, she was proudly singing along!
The JoBros reunited earlier this year after splitting in 2013. In the past, they have been known for delivering show-stopping performances on the MTV Video Music Awards (“Lovebug” in 2008), the GRAMMYs (a “Burning Up” / “Superstition” medley with Stevie Wonder in 2009) and the Teen Choice Awards (“Much Better” and “World War III” in 2009).
In a Billboard cover story last month, the trio opened up about the road to their upcoming album, Happiness Begins, out June 7. They will embark on a 40-date North American tour beginning in August.
“There’s a different magic when we’re together that I wasn’t experiencing,” Nick Jonas said of performing solo. “So I started sprinkling some Jonas Brothers songs into my set, but I always thought, ‘This would be a lot better with the other Jonas Brothers.’”
