The 35-year-old has nothing but good things to say about his ex-wife.

Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey seem to have settled their differences for good.

In a new interview with Howard Stern, the 35-year-old opens up about his ex-wife's new relationship with Australian billionaire James Packer, and he surprisingly had nothing but nice things to say about the "All I Want For Christmas Is You" singer.

Stern starts the conversation, saying, "Hey, how about Mariah bouncing back from the divorce. She's with a billionaire, dude." Cannon quickly replies, saying, "That's awesome, isn't it?"

"I thought it'd take a while to get over you," Stern jokes.

"It happened a lot faster than you thought," Cannon chimes in, laughing. "She's Mariah Carey!"

"As long as she's happy and my children are happy, I'm happy," he adds. When asked about how often he gets to see the couple's two children together -- 4-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe -- Cannon says it's more often than most would expect.

"All the time," he reveals. "We're in the same city together. It's beautiful because my house is more, like, in the suburbs, and they're in the city. I work in the city. We hang out all the time."

"They'll come over and my daughter will be like, 'I don't wanna sleep here. I wanna sleep at my other house,'" he continues. "We'll just put her in the car, and drive her to her mom's house and go there."

The former couple's most recent family day took place late last month.

"It was really cool because we all had Thanksgiving together," he adds. "It was beautiful. It was amazing. We're family, Howard!"

Cannon also revealed to Stern that Packer wasn't in attendance, though he wouldn't have minded his presence at the feast. "He's Australian, it's an American holiday," he says. "I wanted him to be there. I was looking forward to hanging out."

Despite Stern's many attempts to get Cannon to diss the 45-year-old diva, Cannon said that the reason his split from Carey is working is due to their maturity.

"Divorce can be a good thing when you're mature about it," he reveals. "There's still love and respect involved."

Stern then says, "And now that you're not with the b****es, you can concentrate on the kids."

Cannon, again breaking out in laughter, says, "You said it Howard."

Carey and Cannon called it quits in August 2014 after six years of marriage. The "We Belong Together" singer made her red carpet debut with her new boyfriend at The Intern premiere in September.

"We first met in Aspen," Carey revealed on the Steve Harvey show late last month. "We were at the Hercules premiere. We were talking and laughing and people were getting mad at us and stuff like that. So we hit it off."
