Hugh Jackman Has Another Skin Cancer Removed From His Nose, Assures Fans 'All's Well'

The 'Wolverine' star took to Twitter to share a photo of his latest surgery to remove cancerous skin cells.

Hugh Jackman is continuing to warn people about the importance of wearing sunscreen after having to go under the knife yet again for another skin cancer scare.


The 48-year-old Logan star
took to Twitter on Monday to share a photo of his bandaged nose, which was operated on when doctors discovered "another basal cell carcinoma."

"Thanks to frequent checks & amazing doctors, all's well," Jackman wrote in the caption. "Looks worse w/ the dressing on then off! WEARSUNSCREEN."

Jackman was first treated for basal cell carcinoma -- the most common form of skin cancer -- in 2013, and has since undergone at least five operations to remove cancerous cells. Along the way, he's always made sure to stress the importance of sunblock.

Jackman most recently underwent treatment last February, when he shared another post-op pic and opened up about his battle with skin cancer.
