First Ever Edible Royal Cake Off!

By

Day 8 - Sugar rush! TheInsider.com's Nicole Dabeau got her fix at the Tate & Lyle Sugars' "Let Them Eat Cake" first ever edible royal wedding cake exhibition where world-class chefs replicated the historic towers of sweetness dating back to the Henry VII, which had black birds flying out of it.

Check out the video to see the unconventional traditions of the past and it does involve a bit of cake throwing.

As for the royal couple, Professor Roland Rotherham told Nicole that Prince William and Kate Middleton will have several cakes, including a traditional fruit cake and a dark chocolate cake filled with rich tea biscuits, known as digestives in the UK. There will also be a private wedding cake for the royal couple.
