Deja Vu: Casey Abrams Doesn't Resonate with 'American Idol' Voters

By

Casey Abrams' second chance at "American Idol" glory has come to an abrupt end. Host Ryan Seacrest alluded to a shocking elimination by opening the show with the disclaimer, "A lot of fans are going to be disappointed with tonight's result."

The jazz-influenced artist held his head high as he sang his swan song, "I Put a Spell on You." Casey made his rounds, hugging each judge and high fiving audience members.

This is not the first time the voters didn't pull Casey through. Towards the beginning of the finals, the judges unanimously decided to use their one save of the season to breathe new life into Casey's talents.

The remaining contestants will bring music to your ears when "American Idol" returns to Fox next Wednesday.
