As late night host Jimmy Kimmel proves, it’s never too
early for an Osama bin Laden
Just a day after it was announced that an elite team of Navy SEALs killed one of the most wanted men in the world, Kimmel aired a fake movie trailer for ‘Weekend at Bin Laden’s’ on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, a humorous parody of the '80s classic ‘Weekend at Bernie’s’ starring Andrew McCarthy.
The fake trailer starts off as an action film but suddenly turns into a comedy, with the voiceover reading “…they are ordered to bury him at sea…but not before he has one last day in the sun!” Images include a partying Obama in full “Jersey Shore” mode, held up by canes.
Kimmel is known for his comedic parodies, which often include Hollywood celebs such as the “Handsome Men’s Club” starring the likes of Patrick Dempsey and Matthew McConaughey, and a post-Oscars sketch starring Lindsay Lohan and Scarlett Johansson, both quickly going
viral after their release.
