British film actor Hugh Grant is reportedly one of the actors that have been in talks to take over the leading role on "Two and a Half Men," previously held by Charlie Sheen.

The Associated Press reports that no deal has been reached, as negotiations have broken off. However, the news organization did allege that anyone replacing the former highest paid actor in television would be compensated less than $1 million per episode.

Sheen allegedly pulled in $1.8 million for every show.

Grant, possibly best known for starring opposite Julia Roberts in the romantic comedy 'Notting Hill,' was last seen in 2009's 'Did You Hear About the Morgans?'.
