Ashley Hebert's Emotional 'Bachelorette' Elimination

By

Ashley Hebert got a chance to meet the guys' families in the "The Bachelorette" on Monday. From Constantine's big bash in Georgia to Ben's low key picnic in California wine country, this was one emotional trip for this season's Bachelorette.

Ashley's road trip started out down South with Constantine, who Ashley called "exactly" what she's been looking for physically.

Emotionally, the date began where the last one left off.

"Our last date in Taiwan, I started to feel a really strong connection," said Ashley. "Things started to click for us."

Things started to heat up when Constantine took Ashley into the kitchen of his Italian restaurant to make a pizza. Before long, the two left the prying eyes of the restaurant's staff and headed to meet Constantine's immediate and extended family in a night that ended with a crazy dance party.

Next up was Ames, the 31-year-old portfolio manager from New York. Ashley quickly admitted that her relationship with Ames has moved slower than her relationship with the other men of the house, which raised concerns for Ames' sister Serena.

"She's hoping for a ring and hoping to get engaged," Serena told Ames in a private conversation. "Whether that's you or not, I don't know."

Ashley had the "perfect date" in Sonoma, California, when she stopped by to see Ben. The 28-year-old winemaker opened up to Ashley about the loss of his father and his feelings for her, even telling his mother that he has "no problem proposing" to Ashley.

The state-hopping tour finally ended in New York where JP revisited his childhood, taking Ashley on a romantic date at a neighborhood roller skating rink. With JP being one of the more seasoned members of the remaining cast, Ashley challenged him on why he seemed so sure that he wanted to be with her.

"It's so weird how I'm on such a high when I'm with you," JP answered. "And then when I'm without you, it's miserable."

Ultimately, Ames was left without a rose and left visibly stunned by the decision.

"I care so much about you," said Ashley in an attempt to console the jilted contestant. "I want you to know that."
