J.R. & Karina Wow 'Dancing with the Stars' Judges

J.R. Martinez retreated to his Latin roots to fuel his '80s inspired samba on Monday's Dancing with the Stars, and the war hero's technique paid off with the judges.

J.R. and pro partner Karina Smirnoff returned to the top of the leader board tonight with a 28 out of 30.

The normally hard-nosed Len Goodman gave J.R. high praise, saying, "In the future if anyone says to me, 'How should a guy dance the samba,' I'll say, 'Just have a look at J.R.'"

Bruno Tonioli gave Carson Kressley a mixed review just before handing him the lowest scores of night, calling his jive a "crowning achievement in madness." The fashion guru garnered a 19.

During rehearsals, Chaz Bono received an encouraging visit from Lacey Schwimmer's dancing daddy, Buddy, who proved to the author and activist that big guys can move too.

"Buddy's like the dance doctor," said Chaz. "He comes in and fixes it."

Buddy's prescription seemed to have some favorable side-effects as Chaz walked away with a 21.

Nancy Grace was awarded a 22 for her smooth rumba, landing just beneath Hope Solo and Ricki Lake, who tied with 24s.

Tied for second place were Rob Kardashian and David Arquette who both seemed to uncover their sexy sides this week, as the judges awarded each of them with 25 points.

Voting is now open for you to keep your favorite contestants in competition! And be sure to tune in to Dancing with the Stars on ABC tomorrow to see who will be the next to go home.
