Modern Family Star 'Honored' By SAG Noms

The Modern Family cast was nominated for three SAG Awards on Wednesday morning and Ariel Winter couldn't have been more proud of the news at the Disney on Ice Presents Toy Story 3 premiere.

"All of our cast that got nominated completely deserved it," said Ariel. "They're amazing people. I love them to pieces."

Ariel's TV mom and dad, Ty Burrell and Julie Bowen, were singled out for their performances on the show while the entire cast was acknowledged in the category for Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

The Disney on Ice event in Los Angeles on Wednesday was chock full of famous parents such as Tori Spelling, Kourtney Kardashian, Brooke Burke and Melissa Joan Hart to name a few.

"Just being able to take pictures with Buzz [Lightyear] is very exciting," Melissa Joan Hart said. "And also to be able to donate the toys is fun."

Toys collected at the gathering will go to Toys for Tots as part of AEG's Season of Giving campaign.
