Exclusive: Oscar Nominee Viola Davis Voices 'Poem'

Viola Davis could be spending her last few days as a non-Oscar winner, as she is up for Best Actress at this weekend's Academy Awards, but you don't have to wait until Sunday to catch her on TV -- she's voicing a poem for Disney Channel's acclaimed A Poem Is… program this Saturday morning.

Viola voices the poem This Fantastic World by Maria Rosario Longobardi in this weekend's episode of the short-form series. The star of The Help says, "A poem [is] words that capture the human experience, takes you on a journey and stimulates the imagination of the reader."

Watch our exclusive clip to first see adorable kids sharing what they think a poem is, and then watch Viola narrate This Fantastic World over a montage of shots from beloved Disney movies.

Viola's episode of A Poem is… will air on Saturday, February 25 at 7:55 a.m., ET/PT and 8:55 a.m., ET/PT during the Disney Junior programming block on Disney Channel.

Other stars who will be taking part in the program this season include Laura Linney, Jessica Alba and Owen Wilson, while past narrators include Katie Holmes, Jennifer Garner and Whoopi Goldberg.
