Following the carnage of Hurricane Katrina, Brad Pitt founded the Make It Right Foundation to help those hardest hit in New Orleans' Lower 9th Ward. On Tuesday's episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actor takes Ellen on a tour of the area to see how the rebuilding process has progressed.

"I'm getting far too much credit for this," said Brad, when asked how it feels receiving the city's gratitude. "This took a lot of very smart people coming in and attacking the situation. It took the families determined to come back and their resilience and they're defining what this thing was going to be. I get far too much credit for bringing some really smart people together."

According to the U.S. Green Building Council, the 75 homes built by Make It Right comprise the "largest and greenest community of single-family homes in the world."
