'Duets' Cast on Britney Hosting 'X Factor'
At the Entertainment Weekly/ABC upfront party on Tuesday night we chatted with the superstars of the upcoming reality show Duets, getting their take on Britney Spears' new job on The X Factor.
"I think it's cool," said Kelly Clarkson. "People love her. Everybody wants to root for her."

"I've always been a Britney Spears fan," Robin Thicke added. "You'd be hard pressed to get me to not like Britney Spears."
In ABC's new take on the singing competition, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Jennifer Nettles and Robin Thicke will search for talented proteges to share the stage with in weekly duets. The highest ranked duet will score one amateur singer a recording contract with Hollywood Records.
American Idol veteran Kelly Clarkson has been on various singing shows, as a contestant and mentor, but this show grabbed her because she actually sings with the contestants as opposed to judging from the audience.
"[The format] works," John Legend added. "And it's a lot of fun because we, as coaches and judges, have a very vested interest in our people we've picked because we sing with them."
Duets premieres Thursday, May 24 at 8/7c on ABC.
