Ladies, you can thank Emily Maynard for putting Sean Lowe back on the market. The Southern gent is looking for a gal to charm.
Upon returning to his hometown of Dallas as a "heartbroken" eligible bachelor, Sean comforted himself with the thought, "My wife is not going to have a doubt that I'm the one she's going to spend the rest of my life with."
Emily told ETonline, "I'm sure all of America is really upset with me and I don't blame them because Sean is such a great guy and in the moment, I was upset with myself. I just have to follow my heart and I have to believe that Sean is gonna find somebody really great for him that has no doubts."
Over the course of The Bachelorette, Sean had fallen in love with Emily and "a lot of the old feelings…rushed in" on him at the Men Tell All taping. "I had no doubt in my mind that I was going to propose to her," he admitted.
Fully prepared to assume the role of stepdad to Emily's cherished daughter Ricki, Sean said, "I envisioned Ricki running around and playing in the playhouse with [my niece] Kensington and being a part of our family." He was "confident" in his hometown date and felt Emily blended right in.
Sean didn't get a chance to meet Ricki in person, but he's not so sure that would have swayed Emily's decision in another direction. He said, "She may have been attracted to the way I interact with Ricki, but I think at the end of the day it comes down to me and her."
Taking an optimistic outlook on singledom, Sean said, "I think ultimately the heartbreak is going to be healthy for me and I'm going to learn from it. I'm looking forward to finding that next love of my life."
Based on the fan reception, Sean won't be available for long. Better rush to get his digits fast! The Bachelorette: Men Tell All episode airs on Monday night on ABC.
