Tina Fey's Character Liz Lemon to Wed on '30 Rock'
After seven seasons of Tina Fey portraying the unlucky in love bachelorette Liz Lemon on 30 Rock, she's finally taking the plunge and getting married to her on-screen love interest Criss Chross (James Marsden).
NBC announced in a mock invitation on Thursday that "Ms. Elizabeth Miervaldis Lemon, 42, would be presenting herself to be married to Mr. Crisstopher Rick Chross" in the show's November 29 episode.

The announcement continued in line with the show's consistently ironic tone. "But not in a creepy way that perpetuates the idea that brides are virgins and women are property." The invitation also encourages guests to "bring your own snacks."
A recurring theme of 30 Rock -- which will end its run early next year -- has been Lemon's hopelessly troubled love life. Her list of short-lived boyfriends have included quirky airline pilot Carol Burnett (played by Matt Damon), immature businessman Dennis Duffy (Dean Winters) and dimwitted pediatrician Dr. Drew Baird (Jon Hamm).
30 Rock airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. on NBC.
