After his medal-winning performance at the London Olympics, swimmer Ryan Lochte made no secret of his desire to enter the world of Hollywood. He official got that start on Monday when E! announced it will run a new reality series starring the athlete/clothing designer.

The six-episode series -- called What Would Ryan Lochte Do? -- is set to debut in April.

E! Entertainment President Suzanne Kolb said Lochte's personality and sex appeal will make him a good reality star. "Ryan Lochte captured everyone's attention at the Summer Olympics with his athletic prowess and his utterly unique and unaffected approach to life," Kolb said. "He is an incredibly endearing personality who is sexy, entertaining and fun. Watching this show, I believe people will fall into three categories: they want to be him, sleep with him or mother him."

What Would Ryan Lochte Do? will showcase the 28-year-old Lochte's fast-living style in Gainesville, Florida and follow him as he prepares for the Rio Games in 2016, while at the same time building on his fashion line.
