Bieber to Host & Perform on 'Saturday Night Live'

In this case, the rumors are true -- Justin Bieber will be both the host and performer on Saturday Night Live's February 9 episode.

After teasing his fans yesterday with this not so subtle tweet, "maybe im hosting and performing on SNL…maybe. :)," ET can confirm that the pop superstar will indeed be pulling double-duty on the iconic show.

Though this isn't the first time the Biebs has appeared on SNL. He performed U Smile in April 2010, and even appeared in a sketch, in which he memorably serenaded Tina Fey.

Bieber joins the like of Bruno Mars, Christina Aguilera and Elton John as past music celebrities who have both hosted and performed in the same episode.
