First Look: McCormack Tracks the 'Romeo Killer'

The sensational capture and trial of convicted murder Christopher Porco is coming to the small screen, and ET has thrilling new scenes from the controversial Lifetime flick.

Starring Eric McCormack as the lead detective on the case, Romeo Killer: The Chris Porco Story tells the tale of the man (played by Hellcats star Matt Barr) who was convicted of killing his father and attempting to murder his mother in 2004.

Today, Lifetime was granted the right to broadcast the made-for-TV movie, despite Porco filing a lawsuit claiming that the film used his name and likeness without his permission.

Romeo Killer: The Chris Porco Story will air Saturday March 23 on Lifetime followed by a one-hour special, Beyond the Headlines: The Real Romeo Killer.
