'Glee' Stars Gush Over Their Fans

The 2013 GLAAD Media Awards brought out the LGBTQ elite and the community's biggest allies this past Saturday -- interestingly, Glee stars Darren Criss and Naya Rivera qualify for both categories as the straight, but not narrow, actors play two of TV's most beloved gay characters.

ETonline caught up with Criss and Rivera on The GLAAD Media Award red carpet to talk about the currently airing fourth season, their hopes for the recently announced fifth season and their solo musical careers.

"I'm working on it so hard," Rivera told ETonline of her debut solo CD. "I'm making a lot of progress and am really, really happy with where the music is at right now." As for the sound, she describes it as 90's urban pop. "It's not dance pop, it's not super pop, it's still popular, but it's got a little bit of my soul and my edge in it."

And Darren did nothing to squash rumors he'll be launching a tour this summer, as has been widely rumored online. "Give it a couple of weeks and we'll see what the answer is to that," he told me when asked about the rumors. What else did the duo have to say? Check out the video and see!

UPDATE: Looks like we didn't have to wait long as Darren just confirmed a summer tour! Kicking off May 29 in San Francisco, the 16 date tour will feature him covering old songs and new songs in an attempt to decide which tracks deserve spots on his solo CD!
